It is important to note that 1 ppm of standard chorine molecules in water is 50 times greater than the concentration of the Quorum Sensing (QS) molecule receptors, but it still fails to affect QS and its often-negative outcomes. Adding the Activation HOCl molecule is necessary to obstruct QS, so the primary chlorine molecules can reach defenseless bacteria.
QS molecular concentrations are difficult to detect and have been found in very low concentrations.
When the microbes lose their detection of a quorum, they remain in an individualized, more vulnerable state. In the case of biofilm and scale deposit microbes, the lack of quorum expression exposes individual bacteria to chlorination and other oxidants, which results in scale fragmentation and removal.
ACTIVATION HOCl MOLECULE
Fresh BiCARBUS Activation solution contains 0.03 wt% HOCl, which is created from NaCl in a special electrochemical process. This HOCl is not equivalent to that produced normally.
Even when diluted at 15 parts per billion (ppb) the BiCARBUS Activation HOCl molecules appear to obstruct autoinducers (collective expression) as observed by scale removal and other effects.
BiCARBUS Activated HOCl molecules, even below 15 ppb, are significantly amplified over autoinducer concentrations.
Primary Disinfection + BiCARBUS Activation HOCl molecules stops the growth of self-produced, extracellular biofilms. Adding Activation does not affect pH or impact the system LCR status (Lead and Copper Rule: Federal rule limiting the permissible amount of pipe corrosion occurring due to the water itself).
