Quorum Sensing Activity

The Plausibility of Activated HOCl Molecules Obstructing Quorum Sensing Activity

                                                          Kenneth B. Jensen, Ph.D.

. . . It appears that there are about 15 molecules of Activated HOCl* for every peptide signaling molecule . . .

For cAD1 (LPSLVLAG) at 814 picomolar (Table 4) the ratio would be 355 Activated HOCl* molecules to one peptide signaling molecule.

NOTE: The key observation is that the activated HOCL* at 15 ppb appears to be active in affecting QS (autoinduction) macro effects such as biofilm production and scale formation.

Activated HOCl produces a form of "parametric resonant energy."
